2005 Zodiac Projet 420 RIB RIB (rigid inflatable boat) rated for 6 persons includes Galvanised trailer Boat registered till 01 January 18 Trailer registered till 20 November 17Power plant is Yamaha 83hp oil injected 2 cylinder 2 stroke. Propulsion is Jet The boat is in near perfect condition with only 60 hours on the clock. Always flushed, dried and stored undercover with hatches open. Small light boat with a lot of horsepower. Planes easily (even with full complement of passengers), will wave jump like a Jetski, very stable, and very responsive steering (at speed) with the safety of a jet (no exposed propeller – that’s important if you turn too quick for the passengers to grab on).

There are some scratches and scrapes on the bottom centreline from dragging over stone and sand but nothing of consequence. Tube: Near perfect.

Never been holed, no scuffing. This proprietary Zodiac material is renowned for its reliability and strength. It is different from most other inflatable pvc's. The Zodiac uses 2 threads inside the fabric longitudinal and horizontal. This dual thread reduces the flex an improves performance on the water.

Engine Pretty much perfect, Starts easily, Runs well, Regularly serviced, recently tuned, full compression, idles well, accelerates well, good solid performance. Jet unit Inspected, seems perfect: no cavitation pitting, no corrosion, controls work smoothly. Upholstery Some blemishes but you’d have to be pretty fussy to worry about them. No tears or holes or wear in the vinyl. Trailer Good condition, no rust, silent bearings, good rubber, tows well.

This boat is a great toy, but it can be a serious boat too, this boat would be at home as a superyacht tender (dingy, tinny, inflatable, of course; if you have a superyacht you wouldn’t be buying tenders on classifieds board…) Can be inspected by appointment.
