The Yamaha AR 240 High Output jet boat , is America's best selling categorized wakeboard boat and a bonus to find in Australia. Due to its massive success in the US, Yamaha did not need to go looking for sales elsewhere and Australia missed out. This model Yamaha is " Special Order " only from boat dealers and wholesalers in Australia . I returned to Australia after 19 years abroad in Florida and could not depart without this beast which has taken my wakeboarding to a new level .This boat has numerous advantages and creates an incredible wake due to twin engines and jet propulsion. The floor layout easily caters for 10 adults and is the most practical and spacious seen on a high powered sports boat.

Reaching a top speed of 83 km/h the boat is extremely fast and caters for serious water sports enthusiasts. You can wine and dine on the boat from the stern with adjustable tables ,or fish from the double platform while eating and drinking . I always enjoyed the look of bewilderment when I arrived back at the boat ramp with a 11 pound large mouth bass in one hand and wakeboard in the other ! The AR 240 is a fantastic hybrid sports boat which can be utilized for many different activities and passions. This beauty comes with a new custom made trailer - Tandem torsion axles , Titan electric/hydraulic disc towed brake actuation systems .

This was fabricated by Bad2DBone trailers in Miami Florida prior to import. This was done to meet Australian import trailer specifications and regulations. The trailer also gives the boat that extra "pop" with aesthetics. The boat has only been used in fresh water lakes in Florida and once in the broad water here on the Gold Coast. I have a full Yamaha service history for the boat and as such it runs magnificently .The boat has recently been serviced by Yamaha , here on the Gold Coast.

The boat has only 140 hours ( driven/used) , which for a 2010 sports boat is very low. I wakeboard between cable parks and lakes , hence the low usage. A number of the decals on the outside of boat are worn due to climate ( sun) and there are some general scratches on outside of vessel . The interior is in excellent condition and the boat has been stored indoors its whole life . Due to its jet propulsion it is extremely safe and user friendly for young children .

There is no fear of props chopping or cutting limbs which makes the boating experience so much better . It was for this reason, that I obtained the boat for my three young kids , who have enjoyed and excelled in water sports due to the practicality the boat affords. This boat on special order retails for well over 100k in Australia . With only 140 hours on this vessel and a new customized trailer it is priced to sell quickly.
