A great family boat - fishing, tubing, cruising • 4.7m De Havilland Sea-master. Fresh integrity check to hull by Aqua-tec – a few welding repairs, all rivets wire brush cleaned, crimped and epoxy coated. Very strong plate hull, fully ribbed below the water line with ported pressed aluminium thick walled ribs and with riveted hull plating. Nice straight hull all round. Heavy duty stern with 2 step treads built-in for climbing back into the boat from the water.
Two rear live bait tanks are no longer used as such, but are great storage and good seats for 2 bums. Front anchor well. Good lengths of robust hand rail. Front anchor guide and bollard. New marine ply floor with NEW marine carpet 12 months old.
The paintwork is chipped up close, but it’s tidy. It’s not a young hull (unsure what year) but it’s solid, and it will still outlast its Yamaha engine - cosmetics don’t catch fish. Wide, robust gunwales with 4 rod holders built in. • Boat is registered until 17/6/2017 • Young 60hp F60CET 4-stroke Yamaha outboard with only 170 hours ! Always starts first go.
Always run on highest octane fuel. Powerful, responsive, super quiet like you won’t believe, perfect condition. Hydraulic steering controls. • Freshly service and checked over for sale. · Fully rewired by professional electrician, including ignition controls, gauges, new switch panel for all lights and accessories.
All connections are soldered, and multiple connections are sealed with heat shrink. • Newly added waterproof LED lights in stainless steel. 2 at the rear, 1 in the front and back of the console. Each light is individually switchable. These are fantastic.
They’re more than bright enough, but they’re low down so they light up the floor area, not visible from outside the boat. • New marine grade stainless steel power outlets (USB 2.0 and car charger style) to front of seat wall, and to console door. • Bluetooth marine all-weather stereo speaker with inbuilt LED light. Awesome high power sound quality. Bluetooth connection from your smart phone to play music, read books, take phone calls etc.
• Infloor aluminium fuel tank – 60 litres • Fuel/water separator • Bilge pump • Garmin Depth Sounder and Fish Finder • Fluid compass • New battery • Full navigation lights (LED) working perfectly, including the 1m high white light requirement. • 5 person capacity, with 5 new PFD100 lifejackets. 3 are high quality vests (6 months old) to keep you out of the wind or warm in the water. • V-Sheet • paddles • Flares • EPIRB (registered) The high accuracy & quality $350 one, not a cheapy. • Fire extinguisher • VHF SatNav positioning hand-held radio – as new but I’ve lost the charger.
The charging cradle is mounted atop the centre console, and a car-charger power point is available inside the centre console door to run the missing cable charger to the cradle. You only need this radio by law if you’re going more than 5km offshore, which I didn’t do. I’ve always had great iPhone coverage from Optus even 5 kms out. Anyway, the radio is included. • Long side pockets built into the hull on each side • Quality anchor – sand/reef combination, chain, plenty of silver polyethylene rope • New 2.1m, 4 bow bimini cover 12 months old.
The bimini can fold down easily and be zipped inside a cover. We have set the bimini position to give better clearance for me, two sons, and a grandson, all of us being between 185-199cm tall. It’s great coverage that will keep you out of the sun for all the damaging hours of the day. • Upholstery is in perfect condition. The front bench seat covers the lifejackets all kept underneath.
• Bait table (removable), with hosed drain out the back of the boat. Perfect condition as a result of me being a TERRIBLE fisherman. • Trailer is not pretty, but importantly it’s in good working condition, and the hull is well supported along the keel as it should be. It’s a high clearance, tilt style trailer. More pics just click on this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zsggdqbmm46oo5v/AACIr3h9JFWDpUcYBYdZoUKza?
