Classic antique wooden 1950s cruiser boat. Up for auction with no reserve! This classic wooden boat is a renovator's dream! A dream we don't have the time for or the jetty space for! So selling it with a starting bid of $100 and no reserve!

Pickup must happen by April 15 to make room on our jetty. "The Victory" was custom built in the mid 1950's for the owner of the Beenleigh Pub. The owner we got it off bought it in the late 1960's. It was their family boat in the Logan river until June 2021 and very well looked after and frequently taken out and cleaned etc. Its last journey was from the Logan River to our place in Benowa Waters.

So a 5 hour journey on a choppy day through the Broadwater shows it's seaworthy with a working engine! Yes, it needs a lot of work, but for the price is a bargain! We haven't driven it since its arrival and disconnected the battery from the engine etc. So you'll need to tow it from our jetty to where you want, or pay someone to. It's well built and solid, especially in the hull which is completely original.

As with all wooden boats, especially of this vintage, it takes in some water, but nothing that's an issue, and it of course has a bilge pump to look after it. The past owner uses it like this for decades and never had any issues, and neither have we. Boat has 11 months of registration on it and is also insured. Our plan was to renovate it and have it as an extra room in the backyard tied up to the jetty. The options are endless here.

Based on its last journey the engine works well. You could renovate it a little or a lot. I could be lived on or out on Air B and B. At this price it'll go quick so so get in quick!
