Starcraft Dive Boat.- A classic Aussie W. A. Plate boat.Previously used as a cray boat in WA by professional diversLOA : 8.3 metres or 27 ft. Inclusive of dive platform.Beam is 2.9 metres at midships with a massive .8 mtr of freeboard.This is a no reserve auction.Listed elsewhere and can be removed if sold. This boat will take you anywhere you want to go and bring you home safely at all times.Its currently a blank palate to be fitted out to whichever way you desire.Built by the well known WA plateboat builder John Rothwell who went on to build a boating empire now known as Austal which builds multi million dollar plate boats in the USA / Asia Pacific region for the military.All blasting and priming has been done by me personally.

It has been abrasive blasted and then had 2 coats of 2 pack epoxy marine primer externally.Deck ( internally ) has been blasted and at this stage and left clear.Sub floor tank as can be seen in photos is huge.Sub floor build as can be seen in photos is substantial.Has dual side walk through and ladder access at rear.Pod is built integral to the boat and takes twins or a single outboard.Not shown is the rear alloy ladder and 10 lengths of 32 mm alloy pipe that can be used for new bow rails, handrails which are included in the saleSelf draining deck.There are NO issues at all with the integrity of this hull.Note** Starboard side where hull joins gunnels ( see photo ) has taken a bit of a nudge and would benefit from a porta power, cut and a piece of plate approx 400 x 400 welded in but does not affect integrity.**We have available for sale if suited to buyers some matched pair motors ( 2 x 200 hp Mercruisers & 2x 225 Yamahas ). Both sets have low hoursIt’s a case of first in best dressed with the motors.TrailerTrailer it is sitting on is a as new Felk Galvanized dual axle trailer.Used as a haul out trailer only ( not registered ) at this time but could be registered with ease with a little amount of work ( lights/springs/guards ).This size Felk trailer retails for over $10,000.00 and closer to $12-13 KThe hull has a nice wide beam at 2.9 so its not road legal to tow without oversize flags etc and in my opinion is much better suited to be moored.I’m more than happy to keep the trailer if not needed by purchaserHappy to discuss sale of hull/trailer combo or just the hullWe can load our end with onsite cranes at an arranged time to your transport if needed at a nominally fair rate and happy to store for a reasonable time until can be picked upThere is an alloy 4.2 mtrs long x 2.350 mtrs wide alloy targa type top which was purchased to install with this hull also available for sale if required.
