Fastidiously equipped and maintained all it’s life. It is not a US conversion, but an export Sea Ray 290DA built by the US manufacturer to British and Australian electrical specifications and standards (240 volts AC, not 110 volts AC).

This boat has been fastidiously equipped and maintained all it’s life. It is not a Sea Ray US conversion, but an export Sea Ray 290DA built by the manufacturer to British and Australian electrical specifications and standards (240 volts AC, not 110 volts AC). The twin 2019 Mercruiser MPI V8 300 HP engines transmissions and out rig legs were installed NEW August 2019 - have less than 10 hours on each engine - with one year manufacturer Warranty from date of installation. Including the new engines, work carried out at the last service, including new antifouling, vac heads overhaul, engine room bilge flow coated, all new bilge pumps, new steering and power lever cables etc amounted to Aus$60,000. Nothing was left unchecked or to chance.

The boat has an integrated Raymarine navigation network, including colour radar, GPS, sounder etc. The vessel has four new or near new batteries, one for each engine and two house batteries. 240 volts mains power is provided by a 4,000 VA peak static inverter. The original refrigerator was replaced one year ago with a new 12 volt/240 volt fridge/freezer. All internal cushion covers were replaced one year ago and all boat covers and clears were also replaced 18 months ago.

240 VAC or engine heat exchanger hot water system for galley taps and two hot showers, in the main cabin head and transom shower. The boat cruises all day at 24 knots (44 KPH), 3,300 RPM on both engines, approx. 40 liters per hour fuel flow. Maximum speed at test was 39.7 knots (73.5 KPH) on a clean hull. Equipped with a very stable 3 meter multi hull dinghy on Davits with cover, plus a 3.5 HP Honda 4 stroke outboard.

Very comfortable cruising boat, excellent sea manners as do all Sea Rays, and great for family long weekends or longer trips. Insurance Survey Certificate issued July 2019 and currently registered and insured until December 2020. Reason for sale is age related – my age, not the boat age! Will be sold with first engine service, due at 25 hours. Payment by private arrangement only.
