This is a Savage Snipe 3.7m / 12 foot fishing boat. A good comfortable boat for you and your fishing mates. This boat has room for your gear and is extra roomy with two and an esky, but you can also seat four in the boat if you need to throw in the missus or extra family members. Included are two padded swivel seats, anchor & rope, new fire extinguisher, two telescopic paddles, rod holders, and 12v charging outlet. The full size 12 volt battery powers the Humminbird Matrix 12 fish finder.

In the boat is a flat floor with marine carpet so you can move about safely when on the water and there is casting deck up forward with a hatch and storage area so you can keep your gear in the boat and save time when you are getting out to relax. The boat has a three bow bimini to keep the hot sun or rain showers away and it can fold back on its rear support poles in a travel sock when you are making short trips. The bimini can fold completely flat for long trips. The outboard is a 15hp two stroke short shaft 1998 Johnson. I have just serviced the motor with new spark plugs and gearbox leg oil.

The motor is in good mechanical order which you can see in the photos, it pumps plenty of cooling water and has 90 psi compression in each cylinder. The motor comes with 11 litre & 23 litre fuel tanks so you will get many hours of use on one fill. This motor has the ability to really power the boat along very quickly but is still perfect for dragging lures at slow speeds. The gear selection paddle is on the front of the motor which makes boating in tight spots easy, you can move forward and back without taking your eyes off the prize. The painted steel boat trailer is in good condition.

It is ready to tow any distance and place in your garage. The trailer has a new fold down jockey wheel and comes with a spare wheel. The jockey wheel allows one person to simply move the boat around in tight spots in the yard and the trailer has new LED tail lights. The trailer has all new tyres, the bearings have been replaced recently and the wiring re-done. The trailer is easy to tow and reverse and there is an outboard support bracket at the rear which means your motor weight is shared evenly between the boat and the trailer when you are on the road, this minimises any potential damage during towing.

The boat and trailer are registered to the 1st of November 2017. Transfer of registration is easy, currently $24 and I will fill in all the paperwork to allow you to just pop into VicRoads and transfer into your name, no appointments are necessary and you don't need to take the boat or trailer with you. This boat would readily suit a first boat buyer, an experienced angler or someone who is looking to get a solid boat package that is stable on the water and can be launched and retrieved by one person.
