Savage Marlin 21 Ft Hardtop With 5.7 Mercruiser -Only 9 Hours !!

1986 Savage Marlin Boat · 6.4 metres, Fibreglass Hardtop.S Powered by a V8 350 Magnum Mercruiser with Vortec heads and Alpha One Drive Leg, with stainless steel exhaust risers. It was originally fitted out with a Mercruiser 4cylinder inboard 470 motor and leg which was the original motor when delivered to the NSW Water Police by Savage Industries. The engine has only done 9 hours · In preparation for the installation of the new motor/leg; the transom, motor compartment stringers and the floor was completely replaced. The engine was completely rebuilt by a Mercruiser motor builder in Woy Woy NSW (2013). The marine carpets were replaced on completion of the new motor motor/leg installation The hull integrity is in excellent condition, like all of Joe and Jack Savage boats, it is without compromise.

This one will not disappoint. Boat is 100% seaworthy as is, it was originally used as a NSW Water Police Boat (the previous owner worked in the Central Coast Water Rescue unit and was very fastidious with all he did as the file that will be supplied upon sale will testify). The head is installed within cabin. The vinyl seats, cushions and the rear canopy are in good condition; having no tears, stains, etc. Comes with radio, outriggers, vests, fishing poles holders, toilet, roof solar panel (charges house and cranking batteries), etc.

Registration expires on 15th July 2020 .Comes with a Teak duckboard ,not shown in photos. This boat has been well looked after and is in good condition, however the topsides are in need of a repaint to bring this old beauty up to awesome condition, but is not in any way critical at this stage, simply a cosmetic need if required. Requires new gunnel rubbers to be fitted. The original rubbers were in poor (semi solidified) condition.The cost of the restoration works (including motor/leg purchase and installation) was well in excess of $13,000.
