Reluctant Sale of Great Family Boat! Our family has now grown up and the focus on boating and the related annual pilgrimage to Yarrawonga has now faltered. After a couple of years being stored under cover without use it is now unfortunately time to sell - the details of our boat are as follows: · Savage ‘Streaker V17’ 5.02m Fibreglass hull construction with ‘Half Cabin’ design built in 1991, · Evinrude 115HP 2 stroke V4 Outboard motor built 1982 with power tilt/trim and major engine overhaul in 2006, · Fuel Tank 10 gallons (approx. 45 litres), · Reliable family boat for the last 13 years – used in fresh water generally only once a year for about 5 days family boating (fishing, skiing, towing tube etc), · Trailer with LED lights, new tyres and new axle & suspension, · Depth Sounder/Fish Finder, · Rear ladder, · Anchor, · Boat & Trailer both registered until December 2019, · Sundry life jackets and other equipment as per photo, · Reluctant sale.…a good solid boat, We have also taken a video which shows recent starting/operation of the motor (cover off) and includes propeller operation – refer below. Regrettable sale given the boat has provided great family fun and has been very reliable however it is being sold ‘as is’ - no warranty is provided and returns will not be accepted.

Known issues suggested for action by the new owner are: · Canvas roof can leak when wet and some press studs are missing…suggest replacement (side curtains are probably OK)….note that no rear cover or tonneaux cover are supplied, · Safety gear will need to be checked to confirm that it has not expired eg. Flares have probably passed their expiry date, The boat is for ‘Pick-up’ only from Mount Waverley VIC 3149. Please contact us within three days following the auction to arrange collection of the boat within two weeks. Inspections are welcome however we will not be demonstrating motor starting/operations for each inspection - this provides the new owner with assurance that the motor has not been stressed via frequent short test runs during sale (we have, as above, provided a video showing recent motor operation).
