Quintrex Fishabout Tinny – One owner since 1969. A genuine one owner Quintrex Fishabout tinny. Stamped on bow gunnel area 1969- Hull L33. These old school Quinnie’s have a reputation that don’t diminish with time. Wide and stable, built to last.

Sits on its original trailer and has been in the one family since purchased ( have original receipts.) The motor is a 1981 Evinrude 50 hp set up with forward controls/electric start. Model number : E50VELCIC. Serial number : 371327 The motor has been well looked after and runs well. See video in listing** Note – longer video would not upload, only short one ** Will need a general service ( impeller/plugs etc ) A new crank battery will need to be fitted. As can be seen in the photos the original paintwork shows major flaking/ cracking.

The hull has no cracks, previous welds, holes or issues. Was set up on stands and total outer hull was abrasive blasted with light grade abrasives from keel line up to gunnels and including the bow area about 18 months ago.Hull was then 2 pack epoxy primed, then 2 pack topcoated in marine white. Inner hull has had nothing done to it excepting I re-flow coated the floor boards between front and rear seat.The screen is original, showing signs of age and fitting of new Perspex will be needed. Both the padded front /rear seats are in fairly good condition. The dash is totally original and it comes with a GME radio.

What is done to it internally going forward is entirely up to the new owner. A good value Quintrex that you can put your own touches to internally I will be doing no further work on this boat due to other competing major projects. Has never been HIN coded so will need doing by new owner. The trailer is unregistered but is a solid old pipe type trailer and is the original trailer sold with the boat back in 1969 The tyres were very old and totally shot. 2 x near new galvanized multifit wheels with very good tyres were fitted to it before I towed it from Newcastle to our yard.

It tows extremely well balanced. Inspections welcomed, strictly by appointment. We are not always on siteBank deposit preferred but cash on pick up ok.
