This boat is a great starting point for a project to bring a sturdy old girl back to life - was used for many years for bay and moreton island trips, out to sea (a bit) and also along the coast and creeks at 1770, and tubing in Brisbane River.But was left in the garden without a tarp for the last 5 years, so looking a bit sad, and some weather related damage and motor does not currently work.

Some other aspects.Boat:This is one of those old alumium hulls from when they were done properly. Though it is technically a 'tinny' (pressed alum), the construction is very robust with signficant ribbing and thick alum sheeting. I could not find any actual alum corrosion on hull, including along the keel (inside or out), nor any weld or hole repairs, but cannot guarantee that there is not any. Original Qintrex paintwork, though fairly scratched, is still on the hull.Floor is mostly glassed ply and in fair condition. Carpeting/upholstery varies from moderate to fairly worn.Signifcant (around 1 cubic metre) of marine grade foam installed 12 years ago around under the gunnels and sides (behind alum sheeting) and behind transom.

The cabin roof and bunks are made of firbreglass and attached to the gunnels. In moderate condition, but surface is faded, scuffed etc. Cabin has 2 bunks and good for kid sleeping. Key lockable storage under hatches in floor, transom, bunks and boxes under 2 main seats. Bimi frame and design is good, but bimi itself is fairly stuffed, but could be used as a template for cutting a new one.Some carpets, linings, seats, etc need work, and the ply bases of the outside seats are a bit rotted.Large anchor well, currently 15lb plough anchor with chain and rope.Fuel Tank - 100L is underfloor.Windscreen is slighty crazed.Cabn windows, perspex, slightly crazed and tinted film bubbled/peeling in places.Handles, drink holders, fittings,stretchy holdowns etc installed over the years.Boat Rego Qld until 30/11/2021 Motor: Jonno V4 115HP from 1983 or 1984?.(2stroke) was reasonable condition and worked very well (and good compression) when last put in the water, 5 years ago.

But weather and time has made some problems - gearbox is seized, motor won;t start and so is currently rated as not working. Leg hydraulics still work. Most original decals etc still on the motor cover though scratched and worn.Prop is a solas 'new saturn' SS 17" pitch and is in very good condition. Also, a spare original Johnson alum prop 15" pitch, and never used. And a spare cruddy SS worn prop of unknown pitch.

Includes a prop keylock nut (with only one key though).Motor original instruments are a bit dodgy due to some of the actual needles cracking off internally.Steering is all hydraulic (only 7 years old) but in need of a topup and bleed.Permatrim fitted and worked well.This motor/prop when working on this hull was able to do max36knots lightly loaded flat water, and handled extremely well. Bit bumpy for seas over 1M unless you keep it to less than 8 knts. Pulling kids on tubes in fast tight turns was no problem. Electrical/Electronics:No battery included in sale.Large capacity bailing pump.LED nav lights on boatRadios workingGPS/Sounder/Maps/network as shown elswehere in listing were working and kept inside, but currently don't switch onPower isolation switchCabin light.
