Circa 1982 Quintrex Mark Ii Fishabout 4.35 (Hull Only) "project"

Selling my 1982 Quintrex Fishabout MK2 Hull Only. It does currently sit on a brand new trailer but the trailer is for sale in a separate classifieds board listing. I used it as my main boat with a 50HP Outboard until December 2016. It was a great boat but I bought a new one and was going to restore this one. I've taken the floor out and took all of the fittings out and it revealed that there was a bit more work to be done than I thought.

So the list of things that I planned to restore but don't have time to are:1. Patch up the transom (there is some degradation around where the transom board bolts used to be) see photos2. There is a .5 x .5cm hole in the bow of the boat under the water line which I was going to JB Weld (less than a litre an hour came in - even at full throttle)3. There are some holes in the top sides near the back (see photos) that I was going to patch where previous repairs were done using stainless steel washers and bolts.4. Needs a good paint I have the existing floor still although I took off the carpet.

The sale includes it and there is also a rear bench cushion to suit. Needless to say - if it doesn't sell I'll be taking it to the steel recycle yard where I expect $200 so I'm only asking $300 and can delivery melb metro wide for $45 (As long as the trailer is not sold [I'm selling the trailer for $1300] - its brand new and has not touched the water). The boat comes with the front rail and anchor well which are in excellent condition. This hull is very light (sub 200kg) and I used to tow it with a 4cyl hatch car. The boat is no longer registered.
