Yacht - Compass 18 Careel Trailer Sailer

Yacht - Compass 18 Careel trailer sailer. Condition is "Used". Includes; Mercury 8 hp outboard (low use excellent condition) with extended tiller, adult lifejackets, fire extinguisher, flares etc. Was bought for and used under motor in sheltered water. No hull leaks when last on water (about 18 months ago).

Selling due to heath and having to move back to NZ . Owner not a yachtie so has only been used under motor in harbour/sheltered water but all original sailing gear included. The trailer is in excellent condition was registered in NT not currently registered. Would suit someone or a partnership that wants to do local forays and adventures with an option of overnight accommodation. While it can be run now under motor in sheltered waters, it’s fair to say there’s a bit of a project to catch up maintenance.

Whether the boat can be sailed as a yacht again is out of my league but most if not all the gear is with it. The yacht is being sold as is where is and needs to be picked up/removed from near Mogo/Tomakin NSW by about 14 December 2020 latest. As the trailer is not registered it may need a permit to transit it or discuss getting it registered. The boat itself is not registered in NSW and came from NT where rego is not required.
