Whitley Cruisemaster 1997This is an awesome live aboard boat that sleeps 4 comfortably. There is a kitchen with a metho stove as well as a bathroom with shower and portable toilet. Hot and cold running water with approximately 120L capacity. There is an upright type caravan fridge as well as a huge freezer and built in esky. Two new large deep cycle batteries power everything and there is a full sized solar system that charges the batteries and the system is good enough to run everything indefinitely.
There is also a flat screen tv to keep you entertained at night. This boat has a unique fold down rear deck which can take two large deck chairs so extends your usable space and it's also handy for fishing. There is an electric anchor winch and around 50m of anchor chain. The engine is a Volvo Penta 5.8FL which is actually a marinised Ford 351 so easy to work on and the easy to get parts if needed. I have replaced most wear parts recently such as manifolds and risers, alternator, water pump, coil distributor cap and rotor, plugs and leads, oil and fuel filters as well as several hoses. I've also just had the carby professionally rebuilt.
There is a brand new large start battery and isolator to separate the start battery from the house batteries. This boat runs like a new one and should give you trouble free boating for many years. The boat has self levelling trim tabs that get it on the plane easily and keep it nice and steady. There is a large fuel tank which I believe is around 200L but I'm not exactly sure (possibly closer to 250). The trailer is in excellent condition and has 4 wheel electric/hydraulic disc brakes operated by a Hydrastar unit. It has two brand new tyres and three near new tyres and they are all on nice alloy wheels.
The whole rig is easily towed by my Ford Ranger. We have had this boat nearly 2 years and love the overnight boating lifestyle. We are only selling to upgrade to a larger permanently moored boat at the Gippsland Lakes. Inspection and any test welcome, we will be continuing to use the boat until it's sold and will be on the Gippsland Lakes March 10-13 if anyone wants to see it down that way. There probably more things that I have forgotten to list as this boat has everything you need and nothing to spend!
