Shearwater is a Boomerang 6.1 m trailer sailer with battery operated retractable keel, sails in reasonable condition, 6hp Yamaha outboard, dual axle mechanically braked trailer (tyres in good condition), 4 life jackets, lines, and electric winch. The Boomerang class was built to a high standard in Melbourne and was highly regarded for stability, safety, and racing capability. Being a TS there is no evidence of osmosis. Outboard was serviced by registered Yamaha dealer in Feb 2022, runs well. Noakes Boatyard, Port Huon, applied new antifoul in Feb 2022 & polished the topsides. High quality cushions in cabin, excellent condition. Trailer registered to Feb 2023; tows brilliantly, bearings serviced in Dec 2021.Cabin can do with a spruce up if required, some deck hardware needs replacing - 2 vent covers, 2 grabrails, anchor & a few other bits and pieces; not major expenses.
