Sailing Boat. Heron 4828. Everyday Sailing Is A Great Day Sailing.

CRCS 4828. DIDGERIDOO I have owned this boat for the last 17 years now. Only 1 other owner dating back to the early 60's when she was made in 1962, I think. Everyday sailing is a great day sailing. My children were much younger then and we all fitted in nicely.As a timber boat it does require some love and attention to maintain her beauty.

" It's not hard work that is needed, just the same passion any wooden boat requires. She has a clean set of sails (Main and Jib) to get sailing straight away, and a spare main sail. Over the years I have replaced all rigging hardware. The rudder, tiller and center board are made from Tasmanian Oak and all in great condition. There are many extra's added in like (whisker pole, paddle, bailing bucket, deck vents, sand bar anchor, stainless steel shackles, ropes and flags.

It comes on a tow-able trailer, that requires a little paint attention, all lights and brakes working properly, Tyre's are in great condition with a spare ready at hand mounted on the trailer. Currently out of rego, but will pass any inspection. The hull is in need of some serious attention.
