A small amount of rain water comes in above front bulkhead where the cables come in from the masthead lights. Depends on how much rain we have but generally a couple of bucket fulls every 3 months. Swing mooring had a full lift and service March 2024 at a cost of $1,100. Mooring is located 80 metres from the beach off Gosford Scout Hall. And a short walk to the Gosford Sailing Club.
One of the best moorings in Brisbane Waters. Registered and paid until July 11th 2024. Mooring cost is around $238 annually and can be transferred. It think the boat is registered until November 2024. Cost $163.
The hull was cleaned by a diver in 2023. I bought this yacht in 2021 during Covid lock down as I couldn't return to Queensland. I spent 5 weeks on the yacht until the borders opened. I have spent all school holidays with the kids until this Christmas. Kids are now teenagers and have lost interested.
I live on the Gold Coast and struggle to find the time to use the yacht. Rokani is a good solid tidy yacht and definitely not just a mooring minder. Gosford city centre is a short walk. Train to Sydney takes an hour and costs around $8. NOTE: I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland so I cannot just pop down an show the yacht.
There is no Tender (Dinghy) so you will have to find your own way to get out to the sail boat. I have swam it on numerous occasions. There is a beach to keep your tender for free.I can come the weekend after the Auction with registration documents - We will have to go to Services NSW office to transfer.I am not driving 750kms just for a look !!! 25% deposit required at end of sale.On 20-May-24 at 08:57:30 AEST, seller added the following information: I was told by the original owner that he started the diesel engine and it revved flat out and he couldnt turn it off so it siezed. Some parts have been removed to make it easy to replace but the job was never completed.
It has a good quality outboard bracket supplied but not fitted to transom Would best to fit a 8hp - 9.9hp longshaft outboard.
