Macgregor 26X 2002 In Fantastic Condition

Fantastic boat, fully kitted out and priced to sell. This boat is in very good condition befitting a yacht that is used often and maintained regularly. Arguably the best layout of all the Macgregors, this final year of the 26X design features a larger cockpit, better transom access, a fully enclosed head, and uninterrupted space below decks. The fully enclosed head can be a very important selling point for the admiral. Easy trailering, setup launch and recovery The mast raising kit takes all the stress out of raising and lowering the mast and the water ballast means that the boat can be comfortably trailed by a large sedan.

Launching and retrieving is easy and fast due to the fully dunking trailer. The Macgregor sails comfortably in anything up to 18 knots and beyond that we tend to stay in or motor. She easily planes at 12-15 knots powered by the powerful Yahama 50hp 4 stroke outboard for when you want to tow the kids or outrun a weather change. This particular yacht is kept at Williamstown in a protected marina and in the last 12 months we have enjoyed frequent outings and sleepovers at Docklands when the footy is on, as well as trips to Gippsland Lakes and a Port Phillip Bay round trip just recently.
