Laser Sailing Dinghy Full And Radial Rig, Dolly And Trailer

For sale: Laser 14ft sailing dinghy, on stainless steel dolley and registered trailer. Items are described below: Laser boat number appears to read 82661. I have owned the boat for approximately 10 years (it was second hand when I acquired it) during which time it has been stored in my garage. The previous owner owned also for 10 years (and he bought it second hand), so as a guesstimate the boat was probably built in the 1990’s. Apparently it was used for club racing in Belmont in 2010.

The hull has numerous scratches and dings on the gunnels from general use, and a 10mm chip in the gel coat on the foredeck from impact by the boom. The hull is structurally sound, and the mast step is in good condition and has a Teflon tab inserted to prevent wear. The cockpit has a new padded foot strap and new main sheet block with on/off ratchet.Spars/sails/foils - included is a full rig with 2 sails (one is a sail with no number, the other is sail number 184264), as well as a radial rig with one sail (number 145553). All sails are old but useable. The spars are in relatively good condition.

The rudder and tiller are classic wooden, while the centreboard appears to be foam core with white gelcoat.Dolley - the dolley is stainless steel and is 11 years old, has some staining on the surface but otherwise in good condition.Trailer - registered until 28 September 2021, rego U22581. Plug is a 7 pin flat connection. It is in good working order. Easy one man job to load and unload the boat and dolley from the trailer.Overall the boat would be suitable for anyone starting sailing or just looking for an easy to use boat for weekend cruising. The full and radial rig options make the boat flexible for a range of ages, weights and wind strengths.
