This Hobie 17 fun machine is currently for sale - Get Ready for Summer ! This boat has the added optional Hobie Supplied furling Jib Sail, the boomlet, a Galvanised trailer and fibreglass sailbox to carry all the sailing equipment. The sports kit is currently not assembled on the boat - but it is included if you would like to go even faster.... It has been kept inside since I've owned it.
Description: 

The Hobie 17 first came out in the late 1980's - and was designed to be an alternative single handed boat for the persons who were getting a bit big for the Hobie 14 Turbo. The extra wide wings give an exhilarating experience when you are out on the trapeze wire. The boat is currently set up as a true Hobie 17 - however it does come with the optional factory Sports Kit which has a furling jib, the boomlet. There is 2 mainsails - the 5525 sail is in great condition. The 2136 sail is the original sail I suspect and has some issues with the film separating away from the mylar in a couple of places.

The trailer is a Palesy Galvanised trailer made in 1987 and is currently not registered. The easy rollers are an additional cost as my son wants them for his Hobie 14. The only reason it is for sale is I injured my wrist in a bike accident. The boat is located in Chelsea Heights at the minute. Inspection can be arranged at a mutual agreeable time.
