Hobie 16 Catamaran

These are a very fast boat and a lot of fun to sail. It is an older Hobie, (about 1980’s I think) but their design has not changed much since then and these boats can fetch well over a $1,000. It has had little use over the last couple of years. Everything is there and works as it should but some items could do with being replaced. The mast can be erected by one person using the winch at the front of the trailer.

The hulls are watertight and there is only one "not so soft", soft spot on the deck of one of the hulls. This is common for Hobie's of this vintage and it does not affect the boat's performance in any way. It has a multi coloured mainsail which doesn't have any rips or tears. The boat has trapeze stays and a trapeze harness. The trailer is registered and the wheel bearings were replaced not long ago.

This item is being relisted to the previous buyer not paying so if you are not familiar with these boats or not experienced in sailing catamarans,I strongly suggest you come and have a look at it. I would like to sell it as soon as possible as I am putting my house on the market and there is no room to store it my new residence. Call me on phone if you need any more info.
