Half Cabin Boat

LOW RESERVE AUCTION 5m half cabin Penguin Phantom. This boat has a deep V hull. The transom is rock solid and the floor and stringers were done about 2 years ago, so overall the hull is very strong and solid.I have spent approximately $700 on fibreglassing the the old outboard holes in the transom, reshaping the windows and windscreen and other general patchwork.It sits on a brand new homemade trailer which cost over $1200. I will be getting a vin number for it so it's ready for rego.Have started sanding it back in areas ready for paint so you can choose your own colour.There is only a little bit of fibreglassing to do around the windows then all you need to do is sand, paint, install the windows and windscreen, install a rub rail and then fit it out to your taste.I have spent over $3000 so far to get it to this stage. Anyone who has had a project boat before can appreciate the work that's already gone into this boat.

Unfortunately I just don't have the time anymore to continue on with it. The penguin phantom is a great deep sea boat and it's deep V design ensures a very smooth ride on the water. No motor. Boat is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction. Pick up only - must contact me within 24 hours of the auction ending to arrange pick up and payment.
