Everingham Timber Speedboat-Late 60's And Original Trailer.-Untouched Original

Everingham- Late 60's timber carvel hull speedboat. All original and totally untouched including original trailer.The trailer tows perfectly. No motor but it was likely a straight 6 as it only has a single exhaust outlet. The dash,seats and all else attached is as it was built. Every single rove is tight and intact as are all the ribs which are double spaced.Looks to be Spotted Gum ribs.Not sure what type timber carvel planks are but they are in pristine condition under what looks like the original Burgundy shade paint.I have hand sanded back one section of plank ( see photo ) to show condition.

Not one loose plank throughout the hull that I could see I found ONE plank adjoining the keelson that was cracked and will need a repair/replace All others are as tight as a fish's arse. The topsides are standard thin 5-6 mm marine ply , loose in places and some new top range holly ply would definitely provide the best finish this hull would deserve This is a boat that is a part of Aussie boat building history which deserves some dedicated time thrown at it.One for the enthusiast. Due to suffering a fairly gnarly leg accident and planning for retirement I will definitely not be able to put any time to it as I have a few other pressing large yacht/houseboat projects to be finished for sale. The day I took the photos was a fairly ordinary day. Happy to send some better ones if requested.

I would suggest and be happy to carry out (for the successful bidder) to Soda blast ( my profession )the engine bay/internal hull areas as it would definitely benefit from a good clean up of residual oil/grease. Happy to answer any questions.Had 9 years of S.A. Rego dockets attached to the dash so I know it lived in South Australia in the 1980's. Hull name that was attached to the boat is "Schuss "Other than that I dont have any further historical information to provide Boat is located at Woy Woy on the Central Coast, NSW. There will be no reserve on this boat, I'll let the market price it.

I work to my own schedule needs and am not always around on site but generally work a 9 on /6 off type roster. May be able to organize others to attend inspections by arrangement when I'm not around.
