Dinghy Oars And Rowlocks

Now replaced by an inflatable with davits our trusty dinghy, rowlocks and oars of ~13 years must go. First ten years was to row out to our mooring. 11th year was with a 2HP outboard (not included) and not used for two years. Oars are ~7 years old, Whitworths brand. 2.3m or 7 1/2 foot.

Solid boat. Has unique 'unstealable' oars and rowlocks with s/steel loop to put your chain through - and chain under the seat to make the dinghy unstealable when kept by the foreshore. My own design and make - it works! Transom ramp wheel removed for outboard as it was centred. High grade s/steel curved bar fibreglassed into stern keel to ensure no wear when wheel removed.

This was fitted BEFORE any fibreglass keel wear occured. A great dinghy! Some star cracks in gel coat and one repair in the bow (see photo), S/steel eye bolt for bow line and two s/steel tow loops in the transom. Black gunnel rubber covered with white PVC hose plastic so your yacht's hull will never be marked or scratched. Can handle 3-4HP, does 6 knots with a 2HP 1 up.

Oars are perfect length. Well loved and looked after, she'll be missed.
