Dennis 500 Trailer Sailer 16ft

Dennis 500 trailer sailer - "Dreamer". Comes with full set of sails including genoa and spinnaker sails as well as main and jib. 8hp long shaft Yamaha outboard motor which has done very little hours and states first pull. Last serviced around one year ago. The boat has a depth sounder, safety gear, and heaps of spare rigging bits and bobs (see photos).

The only thing you would need to sail this straight away is a new set of flares. Unfortunately, we just no longer have the time for sailing adventures and need to sell Dreamer. We've only had her a couple of years and have always taken her out on the Gippsland Lakes. However, the previous owners had taken her out on Port Phillip Bay, Western Port Bay, Bass Strait, and Wilsons Prom (photo of Dreamer on the water is from the previous owners). The boat has a v birth cabin and can comfortably sleep two people.

It is extremely light and can be towed by most common cars. The trailer is in good condition with a drop hitch for beach retrieval or shallow ramps. Retractable keel for low tide and to pull up onshore. The motor mounting board was unstable and has been replaced with a DIY wooden mount. This can easily be replaced with a new mount.

The boat is in good condition for it's age but does have marks etc. On the hull, etc. The boat is registered to 31/10/2019 and the trailer is registered to 04/10/2019. The boat is located in Preston, Victoria and inspections prior to auction end are welcome. Please classifieds board message to arrange a time.
