Product Type: Motorboats
This 1988 steel 62ft flybridge cruiser is powered by twin MWM V12 engines with 350 and 180 hours. The boat is in used condition and located in NSW. With its spacious interior, this motorboat is perfect for extended trips with family and friends. The steel hull material ensures durability and the flybridge offers great visibility and control. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this impressive vessel.
And now the non AI description! Twin MWM Turbo Charged V12 engines are fitted in this Cruiser which the owner claims has had 350 and 180 hours of operation. I have been unsuccessful so far to get the electrics and electronics working, which has prevented me from posting a video of the engines running however it may be something as simple as a new 24v to 12v voltage converter? There are however only so many hours in a day and I have already been helping the owner too much! As far as I can see the hull is quite sound.
The decks though, although solid need some repairwork, not that much really. As does a section of the stainless handrail The worst part of the boat would be the rear deck surrounds , which have big areas of rust that will require grinding out and patching and welding. All of this is well above the waterline so that's good It appears that the boat was used primarily with a gen set (not in it now) so mostly it's 240 volts. The engine room itself is well laid out with plenty of room around each engine. A close inspection is highly recommended, and there are no batteries on board Everything looks good to go on regards to started up the engines, however I have noticed on a water pump some bad corrosion on some of the bolts.
So it could be a good idea to service both engines before using! The boat can be inspected at Crowdy Head harbour. I believe the mooring fees in the harbour are $280 a month but you will have to check that for yourself. This was once a very beautiful and classy boat, neglected somewhat as the owner has plenty of other things keeping him busyOn 16-Apr-24 at 08:15:47 AEST, seller added the following information: 12 months registration is now on the vessel.
