4.78m Sea Skipper Jet Boat

Carefully restored 1978 4.78m Sea Skipper. It has an XA Falcon 250 (4.1L) pre-crossflow straight six driving a Hamilton 752 2 stage jet drive. Top Speed of just over 30 knots. I purchased the boat in April 2017 and restored it, doing the below items. I'm only selling because I finally found the boat I've always wanted (only 20 ever made) and don't want to look like the neigbourhood boat yard.

This boat is perfect for the young family, it will pull a skier, or doughnut and do some very exciting manoeuvres (Google search Hamilton Stop, Hamilton Turns), needs only 3 inches of water to get on the plane and best of all - No exposed propellors to be wary of when you have friends and family in the water. Restoration: - Removed engine, re-ground Bores, inspect pistons,rings, crank tolerances. - Machined head, replace head gasket with composite head gasket and VRS kit. - Replaced Distributor with electronic ignition Distributor, Coil and all new leads/plugs- Replace waterpump and fan belt. -Replace Carby with complete remanufactured genuine Stromberg.

- Inspect and clean Jet drive ( they are super low maintenance) - Replace all Engine controls with twin cable single stick controls -Replace steering system with genuine telco rotary system. - Ripped out and replaced EVERY SINGLE bit of wiring in the boat, all new wiring is soldered and heat shrunk with glue filled heat shrink to marine standards. - Replaced all guages, tacho, oil pressure, fuel and engine temp - New switch panels and ignition switch - Installed new NAV lights - Fitted Pacific anchor winch with 100m of 13mm double braid rope and reef anchor - Replaced section of floor, re-seated fuel tank and re-carpeted the entire boat with marine carpet. - Installed adjustable height and position pedestal seats - Installed Lowrance VHF with DSC radio connected Via Nmea2000 to the sounder - Installed lowrance Elite 9 depth sounder /chart plotter with Down Scan Imaging and Navionics Gold card - Added divers ladder - Replaced trailer bearings, winch and mug guards.
