This 1989 Bruce Roberts Custom 45 foot Wave Runner Blue Water Cruiser is a lovely introduction to cruising and boating. She is an old gal, with plenty more years of boating left in her, a spit and polish and some mechanical work to get her ship-shape and you will be out and about again nothing more to it. Doesn't matter which way you look at it... This is a lot of boat for not a lot of money at all! The boat can be driven from either the fly-bridge or the helm and there is a GPS with maps and sonar at the helm driving position. She is extremely well appointed and was a live-aboard for a couple of years until about a year ago, when my work location changed, and her berthing location made my travel time too long and too far for Sydney traffic each day.
As a live-aboard, you have all the luxuries of home on the tranquil waters of the Hawkesbury River including: MotorsTwin 6v53 (V6 53 Cubic Inch) Detroit Diesels - Each motor is twin-turbo (Brand New) and Supercharged (consuming about 11 Litres/Hour @ about 10 Knots / 22 Litres/Hour WOT @ about 14-18 Knots) Motor hours say 605 and 622 Hours, but I think it would be at least double that! Starboard motor needs some work to fuel system and exhaust. Both motors run like the unstoppable diesels that they are.4,000 Litre Diesel (Long Range) Tank4 kVA Diesel Generator (with 4 hours) and wireless remote Start/Stop.Hydraulic Steering from Helm and Fly bridge with Morse Teleflex controls and cables. It's not hard to spend a week, motoring around and discovering all the wonders that are on offer... Private sandy beaches, bathing in waterfalls and secluded romantic bays at sunset with a bottle of bubbles on the rear deck or the massive open "top deck" which is perfect for sun bathing and enjoying the view as you motor around... what more is there? Naturally, the motors need some ongoing maintenance and the starboard motor needs some attention to its fuel system and a hole in the exhaust system repaired (under one of the brand new turbo chargers). Otherwise, she is just about good to go with all the comforts of home. This boat is located at Akuna Bay Marina just down from Terrey Hills in Sydney. The current berthing includes Water and Power on a 24-hour access berth with security access.
The new owner will need to make arrangements with the marina owner to continue to keep the vessel there, or they can move it to wherever they choose. I have priced the boat for a quick sale, as I want her to provide as much pleasure and joy to her new owner as she has to me. For more information send me a message/email or give me a call. Don't miss out on what will be an classifieds board bargain! Ian phone for more information.
