40' Project Boat - Wanting An Equity Partner To Finish Boat

Hi I am rebuilding my 40" fly bridge cruiser. She was built in 1995 and I purchased in 2000. We did many happy hours touring and fishing around the bay in Melb. She is a big stable (9tonne) power cruiser. Originally powered by twin Perking 120HP inboard/outboards.

No where near enough power for her. So I lifted her out of the water and started a rebuild. Intentions are to re power with 220 Hp x 2 Yanmar or similar Turbo diesel motors with new twin prop legs. I seek an equity partner to assist with completion, funding and generally designing and finishing the refit. In 2000 I purchased her for $85K.

I need approx $25K to finish her off so for that I will offer up a 49% share. The nuts and bolts: She is a great ocean going boat and Melb to say NZ is an easy trip once powered up, at 9 tonne she sits like a race car in the water. She was designed by the boat designer Young (Famous for designing PT boats in the second WW) That is the look of her. She has a big internal entertaining area, Small rear outdoor area, Galley Kitchen, large front bedroom, ensuite, and can sleep up to 6 easily and I have had 10 onboard in the entertaining area. She is 50% internally stripped and the hull has been stripped and re coated and finished off.

Fear not as there is a lot of work to be done, but the up side is finished she will be worth over $100K and you could go to Tassie or NZ in her if you had enough fuel.
