Lavranos 36 is a yacht designed and built for the stormy waters of the Cape of Good Hope. With multiple ocean crossings under its belt, including a notable Sydney to Hobart race, this yacht underwent substantial renovations: I sealed the deck, replaced old hull fittings, replaced old engine parts, pumps, plumbing, and electrics. We got pregnant and announced her for sale when the fire happened from what looks like a faulty AGM battery.
