And installed the motor.Firefighter industries (Bell Boy)The red boat received attention in the Newspaper being a show boat with its photo on the newspaper I assume Adelaide advertiserIt is of Fibreglass Construction, year of manufacture 1972, as a pleasure cruisethe hull is in as new structural conditionLength 4.880 the actual boat not the trailer was last registered in 2009, being when it was last used, before my Dads health went to cancer, and he could not work on it anymore, it is unknown what mechanical condition its in, it appears to need someone to look at it and service it and or repair, and reregister the boat ( the trailer being registered) after purchase, it may work, but just sold as is so someone with knowledge check it over first, it will definitely be an head turner when put back to work on a nice hot day on the river, this is a river only boat, suitable for ski, or tow along donut, definitely have lots of family memories with it, down at the Port Adelaide Speed Boat club and Lake Bonney, Barmera, and the riverland and River Murray, great for a river shack owner.and an excellent escape in floods, she goes very fast.she came second in a race at North Arm Port Adelaide back in the 1970s and obtained a photo and a write up in the Adelaide Advertiser, as well as being serviced by the Mechanic who was working at his fathers family run garage, it was a real pride and joy to be such a young man with such a valuable asset, he got a write up in the paper, standing next to the boat as well.I am sad to sell it, but I will never use itIt needs someone who likes to drive a Vintage Boat, just like a vintage car, it looks very nice.it would be like a showboat at a vintage car rally, the bay to birdword of the boatworld.Such a collectors itemDads racing helmet not included, keeping his memory, but the oars and everything in the boat is included and the boat coverthere is some small part corrosion, whereas that part may need to be replaced in a small area of the wires at top of engine, white corrosion appox of the part pictured, I have photographed it as best I can.On Home made Trailer registered until 14/01/24, the disc brakes of trailer, I have been told need replacing, trailer works fine with included set of lights connected at back, its like a tail light wand that makes it legal to transport the trailer, with the lights working.the seats will require cleaning, vinyl needs to be rewhitened, not sure if my jiff would do the trick so leaving the seat cleaning to the buyer, it is showing some spots, and a slight tear, to the seamline in one spot.there are some spots on name cougar, you may like to get a new side sticker each side to rename the boat to your own eg the red baron or keep the nice bourbon named boatCougar can mean a lot of things, its a beautiful smooth Bourbon Cougar drink or Cougar is a slang term for a woman who seeks romantic or sexual relationships with significantly younger men.[1][2] She probably does this after having to many cougars! I am not sure what it needs, this boat has always been kept garaged and undercover and always washed off after every use, was kept immaculately by my dad, but is collecting dust now.

As I cant use it,I could use a 4wd van .the boat and trailer can be towed by a car though, my commodore brought it here, after Dad passed, this was his work of art and pride and joy, I get very upset that I am selling his creation, and value his time he spent, but it needs to go to someone who will get it running and use it on the river or lake again, and enjoy it, no point keeping something so sentimental he was a race boat driver, and marshalled at the POrt Adelaide Speed boat club along with my poppa. For opening the 80s and later events, it was a real head turner back then, everyone used to go for a day out to watch the speed boats when i grew up in the 1980s sat at North arm, you can also adventure around the ships graveyards and garden island dolphins, and old quarantine station, taking in some interesting relics, and shipwrecks and landscapes.
