11' (3.3m) Clinker Built Piner's Punt - Cedar Planked

This lovely little dinghy is a slightly scaled down version of a West Coast Piner's Punt. It was built in 2014/5 and exhibited at the Tasmanian Wooden Boat Festival in 2015. It's had little use, having mainly been kept alongside a yacht and used as a tender. The clinker planking in Western Red Cedar, with Huon Pine trim and Celery keel. It's fitted with a set of small wheels to make launching easier.

It rows nicely - either forward or backwards with equal ease. It has a nice set of oars with the tips fibreglassed for wear resistance. It's been fitted with plastic fenders for use as a tender. It has under-seat flotation - 3 good sized fenders and varnished timber flooring Accessories include: oars and rowlocks, mooring line, anchor and warp, bailer, fishing line guides (2), 2 inflatable lifejackets, a tin of matching grey paint, and 3 small fenders. It can be viewed by arrangement at the Margate Marine Park.

It's for sale as a "Pick Up" only. Call Hugh on phone to arrange viewing. This lovely dinghy would make an ideal first boat for a growing child interested in fishing, rowing, or water sports. Or it could be used ideally as a tender for a larger vessel. It has a towing eye at the bow.
