Wake And Ski Boat With Roswell Wake Tower - Monterey 194FS

This is a great opportunity for someone who is either mechanically minded or just wants to do a repower of a ready made wake and ski boat. This Monterey 194FS is a 19'6" bowrider sitting on a dual axle galvanised boat trailer. Last time we used this boat was about 5 years ago and it was running beautifully. Washed it down, flushed the engine as per usual practice, threw on the full custom fitted cover and stored it under the holiday house. Unfortunately we were not able to use it for a few seasons and when we did, the engine wouldn't turn over.

After having it inspected by a mechanic, the diagnosis was moisture had got into two of the cylinders and caused the rings to rust and expand (he used a scope to look into the cylinders). It's only a small amount but as it was sitting for so long, it won't now turn over. Engine is a 5.0 volvo penta GXI-E which had about 280hrs and was running perfectly when last used. Not running now as per above. Trailer is gal and was last registered in 2011 but is now unregistered so blue slip required. It has disc brakes and is in reasonable condition with some rust on leaf springs etc but no significant structural rust. Tyes should probably be replaced given lack of use and age and also needs a new spare.
