Full rebuild was required, stripped to a bare block and acid cleaned, all new bearings, cylinders honed 8 new pistons, brand new cylinder heads complete with new valves, re-assembled and refitted cost $5000 rebuild plus removing and refitting, new stainless steel Marine Torq exhaust extractors with 10-year guarantee $3000.
