2006 Malibu Wakesetter VLX on Easytow Tandem Trailer. Malibu Perfect Pass. Unfortunately due to an ongoing injury my days of wakeboarding are no longer. My hope was to return this beauty to it's former glory. In it's previous life it spent some time around salty water and was exposed to the elements.

Hence, she is showing the 7 signs of ageing. The interior is usable but it will need replacement at some point. It has the factory Malibu rust in spots but sun damage sees the need for replacing. I quickly replaced the bin and engine lid vinyl myself but this was just to make it usable. Some vinyl was placed over the dash also but I am sure there could be a better option for tidying that up.

The trailer has a few rust spots that need attention and the tower has some bubbles where the powdercoat has been exposed. This is something that isn't an urgent fix but worth knowing about. Boat and trailer have reg until March. A good cut and polish will help bring up the exterior and there have been a couple of scratches patched under the front bow from poor landings I imagine. The engine was fully rebuilt about 4 years ago to the tune of $12000. It has a total of 420 hours on it. It has stainless hi-tek headers now and stainless drop down exhaust. It has only seen freshwater since the rebuild. It has 4 new light truck tyres on the trailer, a new brake controller and all Victorian reg.

With breakaway system. The trailer has LED lights, half rollers and half skids for easy launching. It's paint over gal with alloy wheels. Bearing buddies were recently fitted and bearings where checked and repacked. It has fresh Supercharge batteries, a twin amp sound system with subwoofer and tower speakers that have been freshly powdercoated.

The stereo is a Clarion. The tower has twin board racks also. It has the Malibu Launch ballast system with the 4 tanks, 2 rear, centre and front. It has a manual wedge for more ramp if you are looking for it. The prop is new and this boat runs really smooth.

It sounds nice and throaty and pulls really strongly. It was service a few months ago and is totally ready to hit the water. Comes with all safety gear. The boat is currently stored undercover in Moama and can be viewed there. Should you wish to see it in Melbourne, I could arrange that.
