Great Classic:1974 Glastron V174 Aqua Lift, 18ft Fiberglass

Great classic: Hull: 1974 Glastron V174 Aqua Lift, 18ft fiberglass. Engine: Volvo Penta165HP inline V6 (w/three carburetors) inboard. Leg: Volvo Penta 250 (hydraulic lift). Trailer: Mackay PU5000 (1994, w/manual winch). Boat and trailer registered (current till 16/01/2020).

Boat needs some TLC. I was going to renovate it further, but no longer have room for it, as I’ve moved into an unit. Will come up good with some new marine carpet (has been replaced not that long ago, so could clean up ok), new seats, and paint. Good project to get ready for the summer! Suits someone that can work on engines.

The engine has been replaced previously with a standard Volvo engine (about four years ago), and moved the marine parts over. Did not have it on the water last summer, and have not tested it this year apart from the electrics (ie. Engine not run since last trip about two years ago).Inspection recommended prior to bidding, or assume works will have to be done to it (I’m not familiar with the mechanics, as I have no knowledge with this). Late additions: - Trailer showed signs of rust and was professionally structurally reviewed and section replaced/re-welded a few years ago (about $1500). - Stainless steel propeller imported from the US some five years ago (about $500).

- Electronic engine heat sensor w/alarm fitted a couple of years ago. - Extra removable fuel tank (25L).
