Glastron V214 Tri Hull Bowrider and custom dual axle trailerOld School Glastron V214 Tri Hull Bowrider. Quite rare and doubtful if more than a few left in Australia now.Last registered 1989 .Build number 304.21 Ft. Originally Imported from the US and sold by the Glastron Australia subsidiary in DandenongCustom built trailer for this hull . Unregistered .New hubs. Brand new wheels.
Brand New Tyres.I towed this hull/ trailer back from S.A. About 3 years ago and it travelled perfectly balancedFront crossbar will require replacement as it is defective.Would definitely benefit from a sandblast and paint.Maybe some new guards etc.It came with a 305 Chev and it has the original leg , bellhousing etc still fitted as per photos. The 305 Chev is dismantled, block looks good as does the heads etc. All stored in one of my sheds. The original 305 motor comes with the boat as part of the sale.See photos of motor componentsThe hull is still in its original gelcoat /paint. Some scratches but nothing major at all This is a classic boat and quite rare in Australia now.
In my opinion would be best to do a full resto on it. I have suffered a fairly nasty broken leg accident and am now working towards retirement so am not planning on going on with this project as have other larger yacht projects which will soak up most of my time.Time to pass the baton. Have some larger yacht/cruiser projects which are a priority before I retire.Has twin s/steel fuel tanks. No seats at all. Split type screen is in fair to good condition.
Frame is excellent. Port motor bed timber block is rotted. Starboard ok but you would do both. An easy fix.2 pieces of 100x75 to be bolted in and glassed/flowcoatedHas a transom opening/ integral set of steps for rear access from water on starboard side.May also suit an easy pod conversion too. I’d also be happy to keep the Chev and discount the sale price if need be.The 305 Chev, Trailer with new wheels tyres and the hull being what it is is ,represents good value as it stands.
I’m not in a huge rush to sell it so if you flick me any lowball offers don’t expect any response.20% deposit within 24 hours.Bank deposit preferred.Cleared funds before pickup.GST Included.Happy to hold for a few weeks if transport is needed to be organised NOTE : FLOOR The FRG floor has a few minor soft spots As is general in some but not all USA boats the floor is approx. 6-8 mm cast FRG floor sheets generally laid over 9mm ply. Fairly sure it will be a straight forward repair process.TRANSOM: Generally solid .Externally all areas are solid and intact. Internally there is a soft spot on the inner port side of the transom. Possibly able to be repaired via cutting/removing/replacing from inside port side of transom but may involve further work. Will only know once cut into.I’m declaring this information because I’ve been in this game for a few decades and have seen some real low lifes trying to pass off boats for sale with serious issues without letting prospective buyers know about them beforehand.
No integrity. No class at all. Not my game. Inspections welcomed, strictly by appointment. We are not always on site but may be able to arrange a viewing by an assistant.
