G'day Fisho's,Regretful sale, I purchased this boat ( Blue ) 4 years ago with the intention of it being my family's forever boat. For the first year, the kids enjoyed it, but they did not enjoy the 2 hour drive each way to the bay. The thrill wore off.My mate and i continued to take it out regularly until he got the bug and purchased a 6m steel hull $40,000 monster. Since then Blue has done stuff all.It has done 1 trip in the last 2.5 years and its time to move it out of my shed. I paid $6000 for it, and since then have done the following,Upgraded to a Sarca anchor, with 8m of chain and 200m of new rope,Upgraded to the Lowrance Elite 5 with gold mapping,Upgraded the baitboard ( which is really good to use )Installed LED forward facing lights,Installed blue LED strip lights in the inside of the boat,Got pulled up by the marine guys and forced me to put a bilge pump in,Added rod holders to both sides, Purchased 2 sets of snapper racks,Took it to a fibre glasser and had the whole V under the boat, and the bottom of the transom re-glassed and Gel coated for extra strength, and new bung housing fitted.New trailer tires, New hubsNew winch.Comes with side rain covers,Detachable rear seat,A couple of berley pots.2 X fire extinguishers Marine radio I think that is it.As you can see i have done everything possible to make it an awesome fishing boat and it is.It also has duel batteries, 2 fuel tanks and i believe all the safety gear required.Comes on a Dunbier trailer.
I took it to my local marine shop 2 years ago to get a new impeller installed and a full service done and they were blown away with how little work the motor has done, it is in really good shape. Great compression and all the oils were clean and no sign of wear anywhere. They also swapped out the seals in the hydraulic rams. I pulled the batteries out last week to charge them, and when i re fitted them i cant get the power tilt to work. Loose wire maybe? I don't know but i am 100% sure they were working when i put it in there so it cant be much.
Last time i took her out, ( almost 2 years ago ) it was the first time since the fibreglass work had been done, i forgot to silicon the new bung housing, lucky i had the bilge pump.I just flicked it on every hour and cleaned her out. When you drive 4 hours round trip you work around small problems.I have since applied silicon but have not been back out since. If it still is not right it might need some gasket goo behind it. But as i said, it was not a problem with the bilge pump so you wont drown if it needs goo. I have been as honest and given as much info as i can, i don't know the age of it, i was never told and i never asked.I paid $6000 and spent around $4000 more on upgrades.
The paint colour is much nicer in person, i took all the picks in the shade. It comes with 12 months reg on trailer and boat.Sold AS IS, No refunds because the wife said no, or you did not catch a fish in it. BID TO OWN. Please pick straight away.I can bring half way to Melbourne if it makes it easier for anyone.Located Bendigo ( no where near the bloody snapper )Thanks
