Up for auction here is an old school Novacraft- Bertram 25 ft Hardtop Cabin Cruiser. These are from the old days when glass wasnt plastic like today's pop outs Had twin fresh water cooled Mercruiser 470's with legs.One seized other spinning but both in good condition.Legs were trashed and scrapped. Motors removed and stored.Available for sale if wanted as removed.Photos can be forwarded on request.Transom openings plugged,fibreglassed, faired and 2 pack primed- properly.Fit an inboard or pod- your choice.Would be nice with a single 5.7 or 454 big block Mercruiser too.Very suitable for podding.Full half cabin with head/sink/twin bunk areas.Fibreglass hardtop.Undercover in rear cab areaMake a very good weekenderBow and other rails all in reasonably good order.Old school pedestal seats that can be redone or replaced.One has a dislodged S/Steel angle bracket but is repairable.Personally I would re-use and recover -they are good solid seats and pedestals All window glass is in very good condition for age.This was a moored boat.Hull has been craned onto a hardstand.Had its bum sodablasted and sanded/faired/tiecoated then antifouled ( our profession )Above water line sanded/faired then 2 coats of marine 2 pack epoxy up to gunnels.Has internal s/steel sub floor fuel tank.All internal teak timber components/doors etc can be brought back to life with elbow grease,sanding and staining or could be sanded and painted -a personal choice.Floor area over tank section and where inboard were will require some minor framework/ ply /glassing to bring up to scratch.No more than a weekends work.Will take some photos of this area in coming week and upload Topsides will benefit by complete sand back ,prime and topcoating or could be left as is. All in the eye of the beholder.This is a project with good bones. Trailer is a 28 ft galvanized dual axle Trailit model with good sound components all round.

Not too long ago it brought an 8 mtr Alloy plate boat over from WA so not dodgy at all.It is currently unregistered but could easily be re-registered with minor works undertaken. It is included in this auction but we are also willing to retain it and discount the sale price at auctions end at an agreed price between buyer and seller. Alternatively it can be made available to allow boat to be transported by road/tilt tray by leaving an appropriate refundable deposit.We are willing to assist where possible.Alternatively for a nominal fee we can arrange lifting to your own arranged transport by on site crane.
