Bertram- Huntsman V23 Sedan Hardtop Project Alloy 3.2 Tonne Trailer. 5.7 Merc.

Up for sale here is a Project Bertram Huntsman V23 with excellent bones.It's a project boat so dont read any further if your not prepared to do some finishing off.Note : There are a few different trailer and motor options open to prospective purchasers -all dependent on whether or not you wish to moor this old girl so read the listing carefully please. All work has been done by me personally so I can answer any questions you might have.I'm selling off lots of projects over the next year or two so I can retire. Others have more priority and this is not one of them.This is the third one I've owned and as much as I'd like to finish it off, time is my enemy. It's a fibreglass hardtop V23 Bertram Sedan.Prominently, one of the best I've seen as far as cabin glass goes.Great FRG hardtop and a hull with no osmosis.I have prepped and applied 2 coats of two pack marine primer to the hull to the gunnels.Topcoat to be done by new owners.Was antifouled to turn of gunnels when I got it so a new epoxy tiecoat and one coat of new antifoul has been applied.All other areas internally/externally to be choice of new owners.Has good bow rails.Has all original seating bunk cushions including motor cover cushions.They are in fairly good condition.Saloon area has galley seating on port side.Starboard has a sink and built in fridge with command seating at helm.All timber work needs sanding /refinishing.2 internal sleeping bunks with head.Has an original invertor fitted but dont know condition.Large underfloor s/steel fuel tank in centre floor area.Inboard engine beds still in good condition if want to fit inboard.Transom has been plugged and fibreglassed so a pod can be fitted if required.Transom in good standing.Small section of port side floor area was defective and has been replaced and re fibreglassed.All other floor areas are good. For the purpose of this listing I am selling the hull with the registered 9 mtr long 3.2 tonne GVM Alloy trailer together with a good spinning 5.7 Mercruiser fresh water cooled engine with low compression that needs a kit put through it.

( no leg ). The 2002 trailer had $3700.00 spent on it in 2018 as preventative maintenance (receipts available ) and is in very good condition.Around the $14k mark to replace. IF you wish to moor this boat and don't want the alloy trailer and only need a general dual axle haul out trailer the 2 tonne GVM Ezy Loader trailer ( registered ) shown in the listing photos can be sold with the boat as an alternative transport option. The 5.7 Mercruiser motor is negotiable also. I'm completely happy to keep it for other use.
