Twin shaft BMW D 190 6 cylinder diesels.Both diesels have had over $23 k spent on them over last 2 yearsGood quality Flybridge frames and Rear canopy with rocket launcher stainless steel units.Clears on flybridge are aged and would benefit from replacement.Canvas covers are in good condition and will require a good clean only. Upper station steering/controls only but lower steering unit ( not gauges/controls ) available if required.Internal saloon area in very good condition but would benefit from a bit of TLC,elbow grease and some new bling here and there.No stove fitted at presentHas pretty much all of the normal offerings.A good compound cut and a polish will bring her up to speed also. This is a good down to earth Bertie 28 Boat suffered a run aground on a sandbar in channel at Brisbane Water and caused damage to following : Prop shaft bent port side./ Rudder bent 15 degrees off centre port side.

/ Port side motor dislodged at front motor mounts and coach bolts pulled out of front motor mounts.This caused alternator to short out against motor and caused minor electrical wiring damage.Prop shaft damage caused fibreglass shaft housing to be damaged. A brand new S/Steel prop shaft has been spun up, Bronze rudder computer realigned and a new stuffing box supplied by Porters Props in Sydney at a cost of $2200.00 all delivered to site.These items included in sale I have it on a hardstand at my yard presently as shown in the photos.So far have scraped the marine growth and sodablasted the hull clean.An epoxy tie coat was then applied with 2 good coats of antifoul after tiecoat.One more coat of antifoul required prior to relaunch The remedial works to rectify the motor mounts,fit new prop shaft, rudder and repair shaft log etc we were going to carry out in the coming months.Unfortunately I have suffered a fairly gnarly accident 7 weeks ago and am out of action for at least another 2 months.A retirement plan previously formulated has been swiftly been brought forward.We have many other much larger marine projects to see off and this one will have to sit pat for a while.Would rather see it go forward and to be perfectly honest I need some more space.Unless you know the market well, do your research and see what these time honoured boats fetch before you consider it.You will see it is a good offer. ***Not included in this listing but will be offered to buyer at a very generous price is 2 almost complete spare diesel engines*** I'm offering this up to buyers as an expression of interest and will consider all offers over $22,500.00 at this time "as is where is."
