Purchased this boat from a wakeboard enthusiast from up around the Gold Coast area Queensland back in June 2011. Re-registered in Victoria and spent many years cruising and skiing the Murray River at Echuca. Stored at a cabin site under carport at Echuca until early 2022 when the cabin was sold. Since then, the boat has been sitting on the front lawn Sunbury.
The boat is in reasonably good condition for its age. As there is little family interest in the boat now, it needs to be sold. A perspective new owner will not be disappointed with their purchase given the low bid start price. - Just to advise, I'm the 3rd owner of this boat/trailer configuration. - Bayliner Bowrider 185 2004 Mercruiser - 3.0L Mercruiser 4 cylinder 4 stroke = 135 HP Inboard Outboard Alpha One Sterndrive Leg with 524 hrs on the dashboard clock.
- Boat Length = 5.64m (18’–6”) - Boat Beam = 2.36m (7’–9”) – excludes tower fitting & trailer width 2.4m min. - Seating for 8 people – no tears or rips to seats - Public Weighbridge – Towing Weight Boat/Trailer Unladen = 1440 kg (1.44T) have paperwork. Please note – when towing excludes possible weight increase from ski’s, wakeboards, wetsuits & rope gear plus esky’s, picnic gear, chairs, towels etc. etc. - Below deck floor storage for ski’s, wakeboards & ropes etc. etc. - Additional storage to bowrider section for lifejackets, anchor etc. etc.
- Collapsible wakeboard tower “Boat Fit” comprising 50mm dia chrome tubing. Requires two people to lift & pin lock tower in place. Note there is surface gel cracking to the boat hull at the 4 load mounting points of the tower. Refer to pic. - Collapsible bimini can be secured against boat windshield when not required whilst skiing or cruising.
- Aluminium alloy wakeboard/ski rack holder affixed to tower. - Boat and Trailer registered in Victoria via VicRoads until late July 2025. - Bayliner hull identification number HIN = USA BIYF……04 185 BR 659 - Two excellent propellers provided. As fitted currently on boat, Mercury Marine “Vensura” 4 blade S.S. Propeller Part No 141/2” - 48 - 825898 - 17” Pitch Spare Mercury Marine “Vengeance” 3 blade S.S.
Propeller Part No 14” - 48 – 16316 – 19” Pitch. This propeller was fitted on boat when first purchased back in June 2011. - Garmin Depth Sounder 300C - Large boat drivers rear vision mirror. - Basic Pioneer radio with Indy speakers cones to tower, one speaker cover went overboard via the river! Suggest adding a power amp to the radio to boost volume performance if required.
- quality lifejackets x 3 “Ultra Raider” + 3 basic lifejackets - galvanised sand anchor with chain and rope - boat sale comes with if wanted by new owner; basic ski gear – pair of timber Fred Williams ski’s ideal for beginners to which will need a little tlc; “Hyperlite 140 Movement” wakeboard; various ski ropes; additional extra large boat cover similar to that shown in pic is 19’-21’ long, hardly used; again an extra additional spare wheel to that shown mounted on trailer 14” rim 8 star spoke as fitted to trailer wheels, spare trailer mudguard. - trailer wheel anti-theft locks x 2, one being “KLAMP IT” The boat trailer is by KARAVAN, a USA manufacture, it is a typical trailer supplied to most Bayliners. The boat sits on 4 carpeted timber planks. It had a swing pivot draw bar that contained the USA 2-inch pressed steel tow ball clutch type coupling. This coupling may have been legal in Queensland however it was removed for Victorian registration with a standard mechanical cast iron 50mm over-ride tow ball coupling hitch rated at 2000kg with hand brake and fitted with a hydraulic braking system to wheel drum brakes.
The trailer lighting system contain LCD lights that operate from a round 7 pin socket plug. Refer to pics. The boat and trailer have been serviced as needed, have paperwork to show. Boat and trailer situated in Sunbury Victoria.
