No reserve auction - 1 bid can win! Up for sale is my 2000 model Bayliner Trophy 1703 Centre ConsoleI have just spent the last 6 months rebuilding this boat with an extensive list of things done to it, alas, due to on-going strain injury this is simply too big for me to handle on my own so I have bought a small tinnie and now need to sell this baby.Boat comes with the Minn Kota Riptide R/T 55 lb electric trolling motor with foot control (not i-pilot model) which will help you make the most of the BRAND NEW Humminbird Helix 7 side imaging/GPS sounder – this still has the plastic on it and comes with all the paper work and documentation, retailed for $1,600 at the Sydney small boat show, will come with a Navionics Gold card also. If the buyer would rather their own sounder package then I am happy to remove this for a negotiated price difference. Light enough I can tow it with my X-trail Below is a list of most of the recently completed works utilising new parts throughout the boat:-new binnacle mount genuine Mercury binnacle throttle $560- new genuine Teleflex gen 2 cables to match new motor- 60 hp 4 stroke Mercury motor with 122 hours on the clock- Mercury gauges for tilt/trim, speed, revs, fuel (secondary gauge on tank) and engine hours- New Fusion stereo with Bluetooth will come with box and all paperwork $350 links to your iphone or MP3 player, radio also.- New fusion marine 90w speakers to match the above $90- Custom carbon fibre dash inlay and switch panels (have left over material – was going to outline the front rod holders later on, handy for other bits and pieces as well, this will come with the boat and cost me $300)- New rubber grommets for windscreen all round, new rail grommets and wiring holes have new grommets also.- Installed 2 x new volt meters to keep track of both batteries and have corresponding USB charge ports. One is for the main battery and the second is for the front mount battery for the electric motor at front so you can keep an eye on them at all times- Nice and loud horn - Switches control: Nav lights, anchor light, live well, manual bilge pump (also runs on float switch) and there is a blank switch as well as an extra hole for a switch with grommet (I didn’t put it in but it comes with the boat if you want to wire in other things later.- New fire extinguisher- Pulled out ALL the wiring from the boat and started again using Blue Sea fuse box ($90) 50 amp marine circuit breakers on the front battery (for bow mount) and main battery (everything else), marine grade tinned copper wire and heat shrinked crimped terminals with waterproof sealed switches used everywhere.
Blue sea bus bar in the rear bay for negatives, individual wires for each item labelled for each item. Stainless fittings used throughout.- Stripped and cleaned bilge pump and live bait tank pump- Custom live bait tank under seat which can be removed and used as normal storage if needed – easy to get out if needed.- Newly trimmed bench seat. - Newly trimmed jump seats- New fire extinguisher in console- Drained fuel tank, new fuel hoses and fittings throughout including pump.- New motor fitted with $50 of stainless bolts and plenty of sealer.- 2 large storage hatches up front, one which floods at rest to provide additional stability to the boat at rest (these things are VERY stable) and drains once under way again (drain port above the water line on plane). Can be sealed off with a plug to provide normal boat experience, otherwise you can use it for a kill tank and or just more storage (there is storage under the seat if you don’t want the live bait tank) more storage under console.- New decals all round- Trailer is serviceable but has got some rust in it and cross members may need to be replaced in 2-3 years time I would think. Ford stud pattern but with American bearings – I took them out and cleaned them up but I would preplace them before I did any big trips with it, Avant marine sell them cheaply enough but I just haven’t gotten round to buying them.
I was going to replace the bunks as well but that is more aesthetic than functional.- Comes with all the original documents, some spares for the parts fitted, most of the boxes, all the instructions and a number of larger receipts.- Gelcoat has a little hairline here or there, no cracks, no soft spots anywhere in the hull, super strong transom – I had the boat inspected by a marine guy when I bought it 2 years ago and it hasn’t done many hours since then. - Come with full Kaiser boat cover, travel cover for the console and motor (traditional Trophy Green) and a matching bimini which is in the same green – bimini is big enough for tall people to walk underProbably forgot a few things but a lot of time has been spent, I just need to give it a wash. Only thing that I haven’t done is replaced the grab rail mounts on the console, they will cost $100 for 6 new ones made from stainless and will be bolt in replacements for the current ones – can supply the quote for them if needed. Comes with back lit compass that I haven’t gotten round to installing either. Will put non slip top on dash also so you can still see the carbon but wont be marked or scratched easily if you want to leave your keys up there etc.
Ok - now for the small bits that are annoying me, the tilt gauge isn't working, doesn't bother me and its probably a wire I have missed, will try to sort it this weekend, Fuel gauge in tank works but I need to check wiring on the gauge in dash, I think its the sam earth that causing it and it will be n easy fix, if not done by time its sold I will pay for repair. This bay boat is a bargain with lots of extras and set up to suit the fisherman who likes some space and enjoys a super shallow draft to get into those shallow flats to cast a fly or flick a popper for whiting etc, equally at home on the harbour or bay and outside on the right days, this boat is priced to sell as I want to buy my new 4 stroke for my tinnie ASAP, it has low hours and a 4 stroke motor on it that is not very old so please consider this when comparing it to other boats. Any questions, just ask.
