Bayliner Capri Bow Rider - 125HP

Hello .... About the boat. I am selling both the boat and the trailer which are both registered. She is a great family boat and is licensed to carry 7 Adults. I have had 6 kids and 4 adults on her and she glides through water with ease. The boat was purchased and used for a little while before we fell in love with her and decided to give her the finish she deserved.

She was stripped back to bare shell, new stringers, transom renewed and she was sanded back to allow a tough 2 pack polyurethane paint to be applied all over. We purchased a reputable truck paint for extreme durability to UV and toughness. Outboard Engine is US Marine 125HP - this engine is simple to work on and has never missed a beat. It underwent a major service in our workshop in July where the plugs, water pump, gear oil, fuel filter were all changed. Included in sale is a 2nd 125HP US Marine engine - which is in pieces but complete.

You can choose to take this or not - it is on a pallet and delivery can be arranged for a small fee via TNT. We got this engine mostly for parts, but haven't used anything other than the water pump casing. The sale includes GPS - Marine Radio - AM/FM Radio - Bilge Pump - Dual Battery - Lights - but no safety gear like life jackets, torches etc. The Yamaha back up engine was used once or twice, but right now it is hard to start. It starts but needs a lot of pulls on the cord - maybe 5-10 pulls to get it going.

I am reluctant to offer this so will not give it to someone in case there is something big wrong with it. If you want this, you need to let me know via email before auction ends. All timber including floors and seat benches have been sealed with fiberglass resin so there is no risk of rot in the future.

The not so good bits: - There is some surface rust developing on trailer - which can be easily painted. I will supply the paint we used on trailer so it is a perfect match. - The boat interior is very nice.. but is not perfect because I allowed my kids to help. You see see the pictures yourself. - Since it was painted - we have put a few minor scratches on her, again I will get these brushed over before sale.

- We didn't get around to having tacho, speedo and trim gauge wired up, the wiring is there but not connected. We just couldn't wait for the Auto Electrician to be honest.. and felt it was not needed - because the GPS has speedo. My reason for selling: I have for sale this beautiful boat which was completely rebuilt a little over a year ago. We rebuild her thinking it would be a boat that we could pass onto our kids - but our circumstances have changed and we now require a smaller boat that can be left in the open weather as we are moving to water access only house. I will consider swaps for small aluminum boats, ideally around 5 meters or 1/2 or full cabin which can be a daily commute boat.
