Bayliner 2655 Ciera 2002 Inc Extended Swim Platform, Tender, S/s Stern Rail, Bbq

Bayliner 2655 Ciera 2002 Please read this ad very carefully. The boat is currently in dry dock due to an engine failure. Engine is able to be moved with a wrench, however there are signs of water ingestion (Water in oil). Bilge pump failed on mooring at marina, and water level rose following storm. It is unknown if the risers and manifolds also failed, however boat had not moved for a period of 9 months before the issue.

It is further known the both the alternator, and starter motor require replacement. This is a project for someone with the mechanical knowledge to put the boat back into life. The boat was fully serviced in Marmong Point in September 2014 upon purchasing, with $5k spent, and then transported to Sydney. Previous to my ownership the boat was regularly serviced, and all receipts are available. Hi-Tek stainless steel risers were also fitted at this time, cost $2k.

The boat was lifted in December 2015 and engine serviced, anti fouled, and annodes replaced. The boat did not move from end of Jan 2016. The issue was discovered late 2016, and the boat has been sitting in dry dock. I do not have the time to repair it, so I am selling as is. The engine had done approximately 470 hours at the last time of use.

The boat has previously had a number of items replaced, and comes with the following: Extended swim platform and SternFirst custom stainless rail for BBQ and tender, with a mount for an tender outboard also. The boat can be viewed by appointment. 24 hours notice is required to arrange an appointment. If you wish to have the boat surveyed rather than merely sight it, please advise in advance. It is currently 45 minutes north of Sydney CBD just past Berowra. Payment will be required 72 hours post auction close, and can be made by either cash, or bank transfer.

Failure to pay within 72 hours will result in the boat being re-listed. Should you wish to view the boat, this should be done before auction close, not post. Viewings will not be accommodated post auction close until full payment is received, and has cleared. This is non-negotioable, so please do not bid if you are not willing to pay, or arrange a viewing before auction close. Any questions, please submit them.
